We live in an age of wonder
Yet again, the internets come through with an album that I’d despaired of ever finding. Kick At The Darkness (Songs Of Bruce Cockburn) is an album that I heard once at a party in the early 90s and never heard again. Used on amazon it sells for 60USD. It made a huge impression on me, not only for the cover that launched the Barenaked Ladies, but Jane Siberry and Martin Tielli’s (of the Rheostatics) interpretation of A Long Time Love Song and Bob Wiseman’s cover of Red Ships Take Off In The Distance.
